CELEBRATION OF INDEPENDENCE DAY 14th AUGUST, 2024 Independence day 2024, Government of the Punjab decided to celebrate the independence day with zeal in current year.

2. As you are already well aware that every year. Independence Day is celebrated with great zeal and zest all over the Punjab.
Moreover. it is to inform that following activities will be carried out this year on 14th August 2024.
- Art work for theme regarding Plant for Pakistan (CM Initiative), will be shared by Forest Department.
- Plantation marathons competition between districts should be organized at Divisional & District Headquarters and also link it with PITS Plantation Dashboard (i.e. https://plantforpakistan.punjab.gov.pk/login) by uploading videos and pictures.
- Organize Plant a tree for Pakistan campaign at Divisional Headquarters, District Headquarters and Tehsils with the involvement of MNA s / MPA’s / Ticket Holders, Civil Society & NGO’s.
- Administration can organize sports events of Kabbadt, Volley Ball, Football, Hockey, Cricket etc on 14th August 2024 under Plant a tree for Pakistan theme.
